This is a little more than a short story and maybe enough for a novella. Also there are characters whose backstories are in earlier books, especially Lydia, but those backstories aren't really significant in this book, except for Anne Marie and Ellen. I recommend reading this after both Twenty Wishes and Summer on Blossom Street. In some ways this is more of a completion of those stories than a story in it's own right. I really don't think that it tells a complete story but instead follows threads begun in Twenty Wishes and Summer on Blossom Street. While the title of this book appears to make this a sequel to Twenty Wishes, therefore putting it between that book and Summer on Blossom Street, be warned, this book should follow Summer making it #6.5 not 5.5.
